Scott Parker took time out over the busy Christmas period to meet fans and sign merchandise. The two-time West Ham player of the year spent more than two hours in the store making sure that all fans that braved the cold weather got their chance to have souvenirs signed.
Parker has been an inspirational figure at the Upton Park during his time at the club and this was reflected by the massive turnout of fans. Lifelong Hammers fan, Christopher Fisher aged 13 said: “I am so excited; Scott Parker has always been my favourite player and it is amazing to get the chance to meet my hero.”
The midfielder said: “Hopefully we can start getting some points over Christmas and give the fans something to cheer about.”
He also told the clubs official website: “We are not in the best position in the league but if we can pick up some points, it will help us a lot. Let’s hope we can win some games. Things can turn around quickly, there are some important games coming up in London and they are winnable games for us.”
